At the last election Chris promised to help set up a Rhondda Arts Festival with Treorchy Comprehensive. True to his word the first Festival was in 2018 and this June thousands came along to the open-air cinema in Treorchy, saw the British Museum’s Japanese dragon, designed their own dragon at school, joined the Workers Art Gallery events, attended one of fifteen concerts or watched Romeo and Juliet on the mountainside. And as Trustees we’re planning for something bigger and better next year.
